EQUAL ACCESS? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
Let me ask you, if you needed a lawyer today, what would you do? Call a lawyer recommended by a friend, pick up
the Yellow Pages, or maybe you have a lawyer in the family?
When you finally get in touch with a lawyer, what is the first question you ask? That is right! How much
this will cost me?
Far too often, protecting your legal rights is a financial decision. That is a sad statement about our legal system,
a system, where the access is not equal. It is usually only granted to people with a lot of money, or given to
people with no money. Unfortunately, this system effectively excludes 80% of us from getting a legal advice and
protection we need.
Well, PPL Legal Care of Canada Corporation is changing the system. Since 1999 we have been successfully
providing middle income Canadians equal access to the legal system. Our parent company has been having
the same success since 1972 and now it is a publicly traded company on New York Stock exchange with more than
100 million dollars in corporate assets and more than 34 quarters of record setting growth. It is a proven
company with a proven product, a product that gives everyone the opportunity to use the services of a lawyer
whenever they need to.
Most people cannot call a lawyer when they need to because of the cost. What PPL does, is level the playing
field. We need access to a lawyer to ask simple questions. It is not about being litigious in sewing people, it
is about letting the people know what their rights are in any given situation.
The bottom line is: a phone call away you can have this peace of mind and security to protect you and your
family. It is about having access to a system, that we have never been able to access before.
You may be thinking: That sounds good, but I have never needed a lawyer. While, there is a small chance that
this statement is true, it is probably much more accurate to say: I have never used a lawyer before. Just
because you did not use one, does not mean you did not need one. In fact, according to the Canadian Bar
Association, one in three Canadian families who need legal help each year, recoil from hiring a lawyer because
of the cost. At the same time, statistics says, that 52% of families in North America have a legal situation right
now.
So, what qualifies as a "legal situation"? Well, it is important to note, that you do not have to be in trouble
with the law to need a lawyer. Wealthy people do not pay top dollars to their lawyers because they break the law.
They pay for it, because access to a lawyer is the key to making better personal and financial decisions and to
protecting themselves and their families. Now, you can have equal access to a lawyer for less than a dollar
a day with a ppl legal care corporation membership.
Many people do not realize how often legal issues come to them, but they do not see them. People will know their
rights with the help of this Membership. When you know your rights, you have power.
