My name is Serguei Totrov and I am a financial advisor with Global
Maxfin Investments Inc., I am able to
offer my clients a wide variery of mutual fund products. Through my insurance affiliation I also provide
and represent various financial products. In addtion to myself, Svetlana - office manager, Elena and Maiya,
my trusted assistants, are available to direct your calls or provide assistance with administrative
questions. I came to Canada in the beginning of 1997 and it was my decision to enter into the financial
institution since it was in my related field as in Moscow my degree was in the economics.
I graduated from the Moscow University of Management in 1984. Since 1997 prior to the end of 2000 I worked
for "Clarica" insurance company. After working for one company I came to the realization that one company
cannot be all things to all people and became an independent broker to best serve my clients. As an insurance
broker I am able to obtain contracts with various insurance and investment companies. Furthermore I am an
exclusive broker for the ING Bank and Manulife Bank and I am contracted all of their products. In December
2003 I completed a 3-years course, which gave me the designation of CFP, which is a "Certified Financial
Planner". The basic purpose of this course is to give the complete picture of the financial planning of the
family: different kind of insurance, investment, pension planning, employee pension benefits, various
taxation regulations, RESP – Registered Education Savings Plan. Having this designation my services are
at no cost to the prospective client.
At the beginning of 2006 I got a licence as a mortgage agent, and since then our office has been providing
assistance in getting mortgage. Our office manager Svetlana also has a licence and she helps
